Ingredients

cup
of water
1
cup
of castor sugar
juice of 2 to 3 lemons or oranges
Instructions
Put the water into a microwave jug and cook on high for 1 minute and stir.
Add any flavouring and allow to cool.
Brush onto cakes as soon as they come out of the oven.
Notes
Store in airtight container in the fridge for up to one month.
