How to Play
You’ve received 5 mystery flavours. Great. It’s now time to try and guess what they are. If you can guess what the flavour is from what it smells like and tastes like… we know we’ve got a winning formula.
- Grab a friend
- Set out five glasses in a row in front of both of you (you can share, I’m sure they don’t have cooties)
- Add exactly 125 ml of milk to each glass (regular full-cream milk, or sweetened water – the sweetness is essential)
- Place mystery flavours A – E in front of each glass
- Add 5 to 6 drops of flavouring to the glass it’s in front of and place it back in front of the glass it’s just flavoured
- Stir each glass of milk with a rinsed spoon
- Grab a pen and paper and start guessing what each flavour is!
- Once you’re confident with your answers, submit them here.
- After you’ve submitted your answers we’ll tell you what there were!
Why does the Flavour Game exist?
We think that testing Flavour Nation flavours before they’re added to the Flavour Nation range should be a community effort!
At Flavour Nation we want to trigger nostalgia among South Africans with spot-on flavouring.
For that reason (and also because it’s serioulsly fun), we’ve created the Flavour Game.
Once the brainy people in the white coats and hair nets are happy that a flavour smells and tastes like a flavour request, they hand it over to our Flavour Nation crew to test. Sometimes they get it right. Sometimes they get it very, very wrong. No matter the outcome, the process of tasting and guessing is always fun… especially when you do it with friends!
