Our rum essence contains ZERO alcohol, but if you'd like to use it to flavour your own neutral spirits - you're in for a delicious treat! Seeing as our flavouring has a propylene glycol base it mixes beautifully with plain flavoured alcohol to create a super tasty mixture.

How much rum essence do I add?

Dilution ratio: Our essence is highly concentrated which means it goes wonderfully far! When it comes to our alcohol inspired flavours, the dilution ratio is 0.3% - 0.4% which means you'll need roughly 3 - 4 ml/g per litre/kilo of whatever you're adding it to. This dilution ratio suggestion is slightly higher than our other Flavour Nation flavours.

Just flavour - We leave the sweetening up to you

Flavour Nation flavouring is an absolute winner in baked goodies, icings and other confectionery creations. Why? Well, because it thrives in the presence of sweetness. Our flavouring product delivers just flavour with no added sweetness, preservatives, or calories per serving. It is not sweet, or syrupy which means we leave the sweetening up to you based on your (or your client's) health and dietary requirements.

Can I use Flavour Nation to make e-liquid?

Nope, nopety, nope. Even though our flavouring is suspended in propylene glycol, it is not suitable for use in the making of vaping industry products. It's pretty dang amazeballs in edible, sweet treats though!
